Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

TrendDrop ("we", "us", "our") operates the TrendDrop online store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, which third parties we share it with, and the rights you have over your personal data. By using our store, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Order & contact information. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and the contents of your order.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only a payment confirmation, the amount paid, and limited billing details from Stripe.

Returns (RMA) data. If you request a return, we store the return reason, item condition confirmation, label payment, and refund status tied to your order.

Support conversations. If you use our AI support chat, we store the conversation (and the email you provide) so we can answer order questions and follow up on escalations.

Usage data. We collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP, used for security and store analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfill your orders, including transmitting your shipping address to the supplier that ships your item.
  • To process payments, refunds, and return shipping labels.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping and tracking updates, return status updates, refund notices).
  • To provide customer support, including AI-assisted answers based on your order data, and to escalate unresolved issues to our team.
  • To analyze sales trends and improve our product catalog and store experience.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.

3. Third-Party Services We Share Data With

We share only the minimum data required for each service to perform its function:

  • Stripe — payment processing, return-label charges, and refunds. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
  • AliExpress / Alibaba suppliers — order fulfillment. Your name and shipping address are transmitted to the manufacturer or supplier so they can ship your order directly to you.
  • eBay, TikTok Shop, and Amazon — multi-channel sales. If you purchase our products through one of these marketplaces, that platform processes your data under its own privacy policy and shares order details with us so we can fulfill your purchase.
  • Email delivery provider — to send the transactional emails described above.
  • AI service providers — our support chat uses a large language model; your chat messages and relevant order context are processed to generate answers.

Each third party is bound by its own privacy policy and data-processing terms, and we encourage you to review them.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage technologies:

  • Essential — shopping cart contents, chat session identifier, and authentication tokens that keep the store and owner dashboard working.
  • Analytics — aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that help us understand which products and pages perform best.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store (such as the cart and checkout) may stop working.

5. Data Retention & Security

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Support conversations and analytics data are retained for up to 24 months. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share your data for advertising).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. International Transfers & Children

Our suppliers and service providers may be located in other countries (including China and the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law. Our store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Questions, requests, or concerns about your privacy can be sent to support@trenddropmedia.com or through the support chat in our store.
